Paintings of figures. Paintings of places. Paintings of corridors and lockers in-between the two. The paintings are an attempt at narrative. How the view from one window leads into the climax of a dank and dingy side-street and then concludes with the expression of a portrait looking straight back. A subterranean of underground passages. I like to take a different route to the same place, hoping that eventually a secret path will reveal itself under the glare of neon signs.
